Fabio Quartararo admitted to being stressed out by the COVID-19 pandemic. You are stressed out when it comes to spending time at home, outside of weekend race days.

Yamaha dominated the first day of the Aragón MotoGP yesterday, Friday (10/16/2020). In the first session, Maverick Vinales led the group followed by Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo.

The second session was again dominated by Viñales, with Quartararo in second place and followed by Morbidelli. But Yamaha’s little ‘party’ must continue without the presence of veteran rider Valentino Rossi, who has to be absent due to being infected with COVID-19.

Rossi tested positive for the Corona virus after competing in French MotoGP, making riders aware that they could be infected at any moment. But even without positive news, Quartararo admits that Rossi has been stressed out by the virus.

“To be honest, I am much more stressed at home than in races. Between races, I do not leave home. I train in the morning, I train in the afternoon, I train on trial bikes in the mountains and that’s it,” he said. Shock.

“And even with those activities I was stressed, because I did not meet anyone. But we know that we can contract the virus anywhere. It is difficult, and I think it will be only after the race in Portimao (last series in Portugal) that the stress level.. “

“Even the stress is not from the world championship, but since last July I have felt uncomfortable with this situation and I feel that the pressure will come true in Portimao,” added the French rider.

Fabio Quartararo currently leads the MotoGP standings with 115 points. The Petronas Yamaha SRT rider was 10 points ahead of Suzuki’s Joan Mir, who was the closest competitor.
