ARAGON – The MotoGP riders have just finished their first free practice session at the Aragón Circuit on Friday (10/16/2020) in the WIB afternoon. From that first session, the three fastest riders were controlled by Yamaha riders.
The first position belongs to Maverick Vinales. Viñales, who appeared only from the Yamaha factory team, was able to appear very quickly in that first free practice session.
Although it was a bit difficult with the cold of the Aragón Circuit, to the point that Viñales almost lost control of his YZR-M1, he managed to register the best time.

The second place is occupied by Franco Morbidelli. The Petronas Yamaha SRT rider is able to show that the YZR-M1 bike is no longer weak at the Aragón Circuit, as seen in several previous series.
Fabio Quartararo, who became the third fastest rider in the first free practice session, also showed that Yamaha is really strong now at the Aragon Circuit.
Of course it is very interesting to see the fact that there are three Yamaha riders controlling the fastest positions in the first free practice session of the 2020 Aragón MotoGP.
So what about Valentino Rossi? The Doctor is absent from the Aragon series because he is exposed to the corona virus. The news of Valentino Rossi affected by the Covid-19 virus was only known a few days before the Aragon race, specifically on Friday (10/16/2020) on the morning of the WIB.
The first free practice session itself started a little later than scheduled. That’s because the weather makes the temperature on the circuit very cold and it makes the track a bit dangerous.
However, the delay lasted only 30 minutes. The temperature conditions are still quite cold and because of this several riders have crashed because it is difficult to maintain the grip of the tires with the asphalt of the Aragón Circuit.
