JAKARTA – DPR Vice President, Political and Security Coordination (Korpolkam) Azis Syamsuddin, allegedly had a minor accident while biking in the Senayan area, Jakarta, this morning around 9 WIB.

This was confirmed by the vice president of the DPR, Economic and Financial Coordinator (Korekku), Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, and the general secretary (secretary general) of the DPR, Indra Iskandar.

“Yeah, I don’t know, this is still being searched, he said because he was riding a bike or something, you know,” Dasco said when confirmed by reporters in Jakarta on Friday (10/16/2020).

However, the chairman of the Gerindra Party, DPP, said that the accident did not cause serious injuries, because his condition was fine. “But it’s okay,” Dasco added.

Indra Iskandar, Secretary General of the DPR, expressed a similar sentiment. He also confirmed the news of the bicycle accident. “Reportedly (bicycle accident),” Indra responded.

Indra continued, the bicycle accident incident occurred this morning. “This morning around 9 o’clock,” he said.

However, the timeline of the accident that DPR leadership struck with the hammer on the Job Creation Act at the DPR Plenary Meeting is not yet known. Because Indra did not answer the question of the cause of the accident.

Azis himself is scheduled to hold a press meeting with other journalists who are members of the Coordinator of Parliamentary Journalists (KWP) at Bandar Djakarta restaurant, Alam Sutra, Tangerang, Banten this afternoon.
