The Chairman of the Supervisory Council (Dewas) of the KPK, Tumpak Hatorangan Panggabean, firmly rejected the acquisition of official cars. Tumpak said that KPK Dewas has already received a monthly transportation subsidy.
“Sure there is a double. There is no double!” Tumpak told reporters on Thursday, October 15.
“So we have the transport, what else is the official car for? Then we agree that the five Dewas refuse to deliver the official car,” he continued.
From the data obtained detikcom, the proposed budget for official cars has been approved by Commission III of the DPR. The official cars for the five KPK Dewas budgeted at Rs 702 million each, bringing the total to more than Rs 3.5 billion.

Judging from Tumpak’s statement, it is known that the transportation allowance is contained in the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) Number 61 of 2020 on financial rights and other facilities for the president and members of the KPK Supervisory Board. (1) In addition to the financial rights referred to in article 3, the president and the members of the supervisory board receive monthly other facilities as follows:
to. Housing allowance:
1. President, in the amount of Rs 37,750,000.00 (Rs thirty-seven million, seven hundred and fifty thousand).
2. Members, worth 34,900,000.00 rupees (thirty-four million nine hundred thousand rupees).
second. Transportation allowance:
1. President, for the amount of Rs 29,546,000.00 (Rs 29.5 million).
2. Member, worth Rp. 27,330,000.00 (twenty seven million three hundred thirty thousand rupees).
C. Health and life insurance benefits:
1. President, worth Rs 16,325,000.00 (sixteen million three hundred and twenty-five thousand rupees).
2. Partners, worth Rp 16,325,000.00 (sixteen million three hundred twenty five thousand rupees).
re. Pension:
1. President, worth Rp. 8,063,500.00 (eight million sixty-three thousand five hundred rupees).
2. Member, worth Rp. 6,807,250.00 (six million eight hundred seven thousand two hundred and fifty rupees).
(2) The amount of the housing subsidy and transportation subsidy referred to in paragraph (1) letter a and letter b will be received in cash directly to the interested person.
(3) The health and life insurance allowances referred to in paragraph (1) letter c and the old-age benefits referred to in paragraph (1) letter d, are paid to the insurance management institutions and pension funds determined by the Secretary General of the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption or designated officials that is carried out in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions.
(4) The provision of old-age benefits for the President and the members of the Supervisory Board referred to in paragraph (1) letter d replaces pension rights.
