Nova’s appointment followed the dismissal of Dr. Irwandi Yusuf Msc as Governor of Aceh for the period 2017-2022, through Presidential Decree Number 73 / P of 2020 dated July 17, 2020.
However, the DPRA management only knew and received the letter on August 13, 2020.
Irwandi Yusuf, who was also the Governor of Aceh from 2007-2012, was removed from office because he was found guilty in the 2018 Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) bribery case, based on an inconsistent Supreme Court decision ( MA) (permanent legal force).
