Suara.com – Former reform activists Syahganda Nainggolan and Jumhur Hidayat, as well as several figures from the Indonesian Action Coalition, have been named suspects by the police in a case of alleged violations of the ITE Act, in a series of actions against the Act of Job Creation.
The heart of politician Andi Arief, who is also a former activist, has been crushed to see that especially Syahganda and Jumhur are portrayed to the public as criminals.
Andi Arief recalled that Syahganda Nainggolan and Jumhur Hidayat had contributed to the struggle for reform.
“It saddens me and I cry to see Syahganda and Jumhur Hidayat and friends portrayed in public as terrorists. They both have their services in the fight for reform. The ITE Act is not appropriate to be treated like this, not even the case is properly suspected.” Andi Arief said.
