“On August 12 I saw the decree in the room of the Vice President III of the DPRA,” Dalimi said in Banda Aceh, as quoted. Between Thursday (10/15).

However, since the Presidential Decree was received, DPRA has not processed it. In fact, the plenary agenda is not scheduled until today.

Dalimi also did not know the follow-up to the presidential decree. In fact, after the Presidential Decree is accepted, Dalimi said, the DPRA should announce it immediately and read it in full.

“The question is why the institution (DPRA) has not done that, why is it not followed up,” he said.

Act No. 11 of 2006 on the Governance of Aceh (UUPA), article 23, paragraph 1, letter d, establishes that the DPR of Aceh has the duty and authority to propose the appointment or removal of the governor or deputy governor to the president of the Republic of Indonesia through the Minister of the Interior.

“In the UUPA, starting with the Governor / Lieutenant Governor, Regent / Lieutenant Governor and Mayor / Deputy Mayor, the appointment and removal of the process should be in the DPRA / DPRK if we are in Aceh,” said the Democratic Party politician.

DPRA President Dahlan Jamaluddin has yet to provide any information on the follow-up to the presidential decree.

Irwandi Yusuf was removed from his post because he was found to have committed a criminal act of corruption in the Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA) for fiscal year 2018.

In the cassation decision, the Supreme Court sentenced the former leader of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) to seven years in prison with a fine of 300 million rupees and a subsidiary of three months in prison.
