Ferdinand also explained that his resignation from the Democratic Party was not sudden and that it had been thought for a month. The reason arose due to differences in political principles, which culminated in differences of opinion about the Omnibus Law for Job Creation. He admitted that this was impossible to tolerate.

“It is impossible for me to survive because it will become an internal conflict because if I persist in what I believe,” he said.
