It is recorded that the red zone has decreased compared to last week, which amounted to 54 regions to 53 regions. The largest area in this category is the province of Central Java with 8 districts / cities.

Meanwhile, the moderate risk zone (orange zone) totaled 336 this week, an increase from the previous week, or 307 regions. Then there are 100 low-risk areas (yellow areas), this figure is lower than the previous 121 areas.


The green zone became 25 regions this week, the details of which are that there are no new cases, up to 11 regions from 17 the previous week, and the unaffected areas have dropped from 15 to 14 regions.

Covid-19 Working Group (Satgas) spokesperson Wiku Adisasmito said that there are currently around 65 percent of urban districts in Indonesia that fall into the orange zone category. He hopes that each area in the orange zone can increase his score by more than 2.41 so that he can move into the yellow zone.

“The area of ​​the orange zone is expected to exceed the score of 2.4 to move to the yellow or green zone,” he said at a BNPB Youtube press conference on Wednesday (10/13).

Note that the red zone requires an assessment score greater than 1.81 to move into the orange zone. The evaluation score is obtained from three evaluation indicators, which include epidemiological indicators, public health indicators, and health services indicators.
