Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani affirms that there is a great responsibility on the shoulders of the graduates of the Polytechnic of State Finance (PKN) of the State School of Accounting (STAN) to provide the best contribution to the country. Because, all STAN graduates have enjoyed state money.

“They give you the best education, paid for with state money, use the knowledge that has been given to the world. This is for Indonesia to become a just and prosperous country,” said Ani, his nickname, at the PKN graduation STAN class 31 virtually, Wednesday (10/14).

He explained that the state money came from various sources, namely taxes, customs and excise duties, non-tax revenue and debt. Therefore, he mentioned PKN STAN graduates as one of the connoisseurs of state money.

“Do not sue others, now they will be asked to become agents of change,” he added.

Ani also reminded PKN STAN graduates that they were automatically required to use the knowledge they had acquired when they entered the world of work. Therefore, Ani asked STAN PKN graduates not to stop studying.

“There are those who are not successful because they stop studying after becoming the best graduates, they no longer sharpen,” he said.

He also advised PKN STAN students not to become arrogant and arrogant people in the work environment. Because the world situation will keep moving and turning.

“Perhaps today you are in the best place, but try to travel the world, you will know that Indonesia still needs to develop extraordinary skills so that it can become a developed nation,” he explained.

Not forgetting, the former managing director of the World Bank stated that there are many temptations when it comes to working for a state financial institution. If they cannot resist the temptation, then it is not impossible for PKN STAN graduates to mortgage their integrity for money.

“Money can be a real temptation. A lot of people slip because of the temptation of money. There are many, many temptations. There are so many,” he said.

Therefore, he expects PKN STAN graduates to have a strong determination to maintain integrity in the work environment. That determination, Sri Mulani said, must be kept in the heart and maintained every day.

“Be careful not to be tempted by money because you work in state finances. Integrity cannot be bought or sold,” Ani said.

He gave an example that the temptation of money is not small in nominal terms. For example, there are bribe offers in the millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions, even billions.

However, he emphasized that integrity is not rewarded with money. “Once you sell your integrity, you are worthless,” he concluded.
