Hundreds of masses who will perform an action demonstration to refuse UU Cipta Kerja Omnibus Law The area around the horse statue in central Jakarta began to fill up on Tuesday (10/13).

The arrival of the crowd was greeted by police officers who stood guard behind barbed wire in front of the horse statue in front of the Sapta Pesona building, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat.

As a result of this massive arrival, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat towards the State Palace, through which previously Transjakarta buses could still pass, has been completely closed.
The action is scheduled to take place from 1 pm until it is completed by various organizations of the Islamic community (mass organizations) that are members of the National Anti-Communist Alliance (Anak NKRI).
Three major mass organizations are listed as members of this alliance, namely 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA), the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and the Ulama Fatwa Guard National Movement (GNPF).
Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo stated that the masses who will hold a rally will center around the horse statue area.
“In anticipation of the incident on the 8th, we have increased the strength of the security forces,” Sambodo said at the scene.

The demonstration ended in chaos at the peak of the action on October 8. In Jakarta, the riots caused damage to several public facilities.
The police also arrested thousands of protesters.
