The mass action that took place simultaneously on October 8 ended in chaos. Several public facilities, such as the Transjakarta bus stop, were even set on fire by the masses during the demonstration.

Prabowo admitted that he was not sure that some of the masses who carried out arson and acts of anarchism were students or workers.

“I’m not sure (demonstration) of students, young people, this must be the brain. This must be hot. This is financed from abroad,” Prabowo said during an interview with TVRI, on Monday (10/12).
