KLIKJATIM.Com | Bojonegoro—The family of the victim who was electrocuted by a rat trap in Tambakrejo Village, Kanor District, Bojonegoro will take legal action. The plan is for the family to report the case to the Bojonegoro Police on Tuesday (10/13/2020).

It was Warsiman, the older brother of the victim whose family died as a result of an electric rat trap set in the rice fields. From the information collected, the electric rat trap was installed in a rice field owned by Tiono, who is also a resident of Tambakrejo Village, Kanor district.

“My family died in their own rice field. But the power cord belongs to someone else, ”said Warsiman when contacted through his cellular connection on Monday (12/10/2020).

Warsiman said that tomorrow he will report this case to the Bojonegoro Police. He said that he chose to take legal action so that the case that his family lived through would not happen to other people.

“Tomorrow I will report it to the police, so that this case is not repeated in the future,” he said.

The live rat trap installed in his rice field took the victim and his family. The family, namely Parno (55) husband, Riswati (49) wife, then Jayadi (30) and Arifin (21), the children tragically died in the middle of the rice fields.

As previously reported, Parno accidentally stepped on a live wire to trap mice. At that moment, Parno tried to escape the electric shock but failed. Seeing that his father was helpless, his son Arifin tried to help. However, Arifin did not realize that his father was agitated because his body was electrocuted.

When Arifin’s hand touched his father’s body, he too was stung and lay down. Jayadi also experienced a similar incident, the victim’s son also did not realize the dangers of helping his younger brother and father. Again Jayadi was stung and died at the scene.

Because her husband and children did not return home, Riswati’s wife took the initiative to go to the field. Riswati was shocked when she saw her husband and two children lying down. Then Riswati approached with the intention of wanting to help. But unfortunately, Riswati was also electrocuted. (mkr)
