Alex Márquez ended his wait for his first podium in MotoGP 2020. This was after Alex managed to finish second in the French MotoGP race. Upper part!

Alex moved up the class to MotoGP 2020 with Moto2 world champion status. However, this status is just a label because Alex still has trouble adjusting to Repsol Honda and MotoGP racing.

Ndilalah, Honda also lost Marc Marquez, who had to miss until the end of the season due to a shoulder injury. So Alex had to fight just to bring Repsol Honda together with test rider Stefan Bradl.

Of the past eight series, Alex was the one who stuck the most in seventh position in the Emilia Romagna race and in eighth in the Andalusian MotoGP as second best achievement. The rest? Alex has mostly finished outside the top 10, even in positions 13-17, having finished 12th once in the first race at Jerez.

Therefore, Repsol Honda as a team has difficulties competing in the classification and only occupies the ninth position in the constructors’ classification. Poor performance since the start of the season may have led Repsol Honda to loan Alex to the LCR Honda satellite team in the 2021 season.

Well, it seems that Alex still wants to prove that he did not join Repsol Honda on the recommendation of his brother. Alex showed it at the French MotoGP race on Sunday (11/10/2020) afternoon WIB.

Although he started from 18th position and the race took place on a wet track, Alex was able to beat the drivers in front of him one by one. Assisted by the poor performance of the Yamaha riders throughout the race, Alex was finally able to get to the forefront late in the race, including overtaking Andrea Dovizioso who lost his grip on the rear tires.

Until finally Alex was able to overtake Pol Espargaró to finish second in this race behind Danilo Petrucci, in addition to getting his first podium with Repsol Honda. This is also the first wet race of Alex’s career.

At least Alex could smile because he could reach the first podium of his MotoGP career. So when does Alex Marquez want to win?
