The Democratic Party prayed for Ferdinand Hutahaean, who resigned from the successful party in a new service. Will Ferdinand join another party after resigning from the Democratic Party?

“There are no plans to move parties,” Ferdinand told reporters on Sunday (11/10/2020).

Ferdinand emphasized that he had no plans to join other parties. However, he said he would continue to be involved in politics even if he was not in any party.

“After resigning, I continued doing politics even though I had not joined any party, because politics does not have to be in a political party. And while I was taking care of the business I had been doing,” he said.

Ferdinand said that politics does not have to go through political parties. Even without a party, he said he would continue to fight to protect the Indonesian state from personal or group interests.

“Yes, in the past while protecting this country from the personal political interests of groups that tried to use chaos to become venues of interest,” Ferdinand said.

It was previously reported that the Democratic Party appreciated Ferdinand Hutahaean’s decision to resign. The Democratic Party also accepted the departure of Ferdinand Hutahaean from the party.

“Of course we are giving room for freedom and allowing those concerned to resign,” the director of the Democratic Party’s Strategic Communications Agency, Ossy Dermawan, told reporters on Sunday (11/10).

Personally, Ossy also expressed his gratitude for Ferdinand’s dedication thus far. Ossy also wishes Ferdinand success in his new place.

“Personally, I would like to express my gratitude for your dedication thus far and wish you success in your new service outside of the Democratic Party for the good of the country and the nation,” said Ossy.

The same was relayed by the Democratic Under Secretary General Renanda Bachtar. Renanda wishes Ferdinand success in another place of service in the future.

“We wish Ferdinand success in his new service, wherever he is,” said Renanda.
