jpnn.com, JAKARTA – The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) for the period 2014-2019, Fahri Hamzah, assessed that people are experiencing a major crisis of confidence in parliament and political parties.
That, Fahri said, looked to the ratification of the Omnibus Act of the Copyright Act (Ciptaker) that was deemed controversial.
“This is a great crisis of political parties, a great crisis in the House of Representatives. We do not know the sect or philosophy behind this Omnibus Act, it suddenly became a plan in the national legislative program, and suddenly we know that it was has been ratified into law, “he said. Fahri Hamzah said in a written statement on Sunday (11/10).
FahriHamzah admits that he doesn’t want to get caught up in targeting those who are for or against the Job Creation Act.
This is because, he said, because parties in the DPR that reject or support the law are controlled by the president general of the political parties (parpol) that benefit from this incident.
“Those who claim to be with the people or not with the people are all controlled by political parties, not controlled by the aspirations of the people. The political parties are taking advantage of this incident,” said Indonesian Vice Chairman of the Gelora Party.
Fahri Hamzah also said that when there are DPR members who support or reject the Job Creation Law, everything is controlled by the party leadership.
The votes for or against, Fahri said, did not come from the people,
