DIY NEWS – President Joko Widodo has launched the Banpres Program (Presidential Assistance) for Productive SMEs as a way to help small and micro entrepreneurs.
Productive Banpres has joined the incentive scheme for micro and small business actors that had previously been provided by the government.
In the first stage, the realization of Productive Banpres to microentrepreneurs has reached almost 100 percent with the total of funds channeled of IDR 21,861 billion or equivalent to 99.41 percent until October 6, 2020.

As reported by Mantra Sukabumi through the page Indonesia.go.id, micro and small entrepreneurs finally breathe relief because since August 24, 2020, the government has distributed productive presidential assistance (banpres) for microenterprises or what is called Assistance Governmental for Microenterprises (BPUM).
The value is 2.4 million IDR for each beneficiary. It is expected that from this direct social assistance, SMEs affected by the 2019 Coronavirus disease pandemic (Covid-19) will begin to be productive and start their business again.
The government itself aims for 12 million SMEs to receive this aid. The aid funds will be transferred directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
