On Monday, Canada announced that it would stop exporting technology to Turkey in connection with drone production on suspicion that the technologies were being used in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Canadian NGO Project Plowshares said footage from the Nagorno-Karabakh drone strike showed the plane filming it used equipment produced by the Canadian division of L3Harris Technologies Inc, a multinational technology and defense contractor.
In a video posted by Armenia, an anti-aircraft missile hits the plane and its silhouette looks a lot like a Soviet-era An-2.
Media reports suggest this could be a drone designed to invite adversary air defenses to reveal themselves.

King’s College Lodon Military Researcher Rob Lee said BBC Russia maintains that the main difference between the current escalation of the war in Nagorno-Karabakh and the previous conflict is the use of drones capable of dropping bombs.
