Mass burned by crowds from the TransJakarta Sentral Senen stop

TransJakarta bus stop was again set on fire by protesters all the law. This time, the stop that burned down was the TransJakarta Sentral Senen bus stop.

“The massive action that began this afternoon has resulted in the destruction and burning of facilities and infrastructure used and proud of the citizens of DKI,” said the head of the Corporate Secretariat and Public Relations Division, Nadia Diposanjoyo, in a written statement, on Thursday (8/10/2020).

In addition to the TransJakarta Sentral Senen bus stop, the TransJakarta Corridor 2 Senen bus stop burned down.

“Sentral Senen (Cor 5), Senen to P Gadung (Cor 2), Senen to HCB (Cor 2),” he said.

Nadia said a total of 8 bus stops had been burned so far. In addition, the masses damaged 10 bus stops in TransJakarta.

“As of 20:30 WIB, only 18 (eighteen) TransJakarta shelters were known to have been damaged by irresponsible people,” Nadia said.

There were no fatalities as a result of the burning and vandalism. All TransJakarta agents and clients were successfully evacuated before the incident occurred.

“All of our officers and clients who were at the scene were also successfully evacuated safely and there were no casualties,” he said.

As is known, the masses set fire to and damaged several bus stops in TransJakarta. Some of the bus stops that were burned include the HI Roundabout TransJakarta bus stop, the Sarinah TransJakarta bus stop, and the Tosari TransJakarta bus stop.
