The West Java Provincial Government will send a letter with the aspirations of workers who reject the Omnibus Job Creation Law to President Joko Widodo and the Indonesian Parliament on Friday (10/8/2020). The letter was signed by the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil.
In letter number 560 / 4395D / Disnakertrans dated October 8, 2020, Ridwan Kamil said that the ratification of the Omnibus Act of the Employment Creation Law by the Indonesian Parliament on October 5, 2020 was rejected by the unions throughout West Java.
Earlier, the man who was familiarly called Kang Emil had an audience with union leaders in Gedung Sate. They transmitted their aspiration points directly to Kang Emil.
“Before I received the aspirations of the representatives of the workers, there were 10 people, so we have to listen to the leadership and the aspirations independently,” he said.

Respectfully conveyed, that with the passage of the Omnibus Job Creation Law by the Indonesian Parliament on October 5, 2020, in West Java there have been demonstrations and rejection of the Indang Law by all workers unions / unions (SP / SB) is West Java.
In this sense, the Regional Government of the Province of West Java transmitted the aspirations of the Workers / Trade Unions that firmly declare Rejecting the Omnibus Employment Law that has been ratified as Law and request the issuance of a Government Regulation instead of a Law ( PERPU).
