BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com – Several people claiming to be the parents of the protesters who were seized by officers after the chaos of the Omnibuslaww Act against Cipta Kerja came to Bandung Police Headquarters and asked for their children to be returned.
According to Kompas.com monitoring, initially around 209 insured protesters gathered at Bandung Police Headquarters for a quick test.
Of these hundreds of protesters, 13 protesters are known to be reactive, who will be sent to Bhayangkara Sartika Asih Hospital in Bandung to continue the swab test.

But just before the truck was about to drive, the parents came and gathered right outside the door, they were seen arguing with the guard on duty.
Because there were quite a few parents, the officers closed the portal to prevent them from entering the crowd.
“My son is 15 years old sir, he is still in high school, when do you want him back?” said a mother in a high tone, Thursday (8/10/2020).

The duty officer tried to calm the parents, but they insisted on asking for certainty about their son’s return.
Soon after, Bandung Police Deputy Chief Yade Setiawan Ujung approached the parents and tried to calm them by explaining that the child would definitely be returned.
However, at this time, officers are yet to conduct their investigations into the destruction of public facilities and the riots that occurred during the Job Creation Act rally on Wednesday (7/10/2020) yesterday.
“We will take the children of the mother and father to the center of Bandung, then our father’s son will be returned there, so that the mother and father are calm, we feed them there and they will be returned,” Yade said.
“Ladies and gentlemen, be patient, we are still checking how it will look. Ladies and gentlemen can wait at the Bandung headquarters,” he added.
After receiving that explanation, these elders finally disbanded. The truck then took the protesters to the Sat Shabara office of the Bandung Police.
