Aside from the relatively short validation process, there are several related concerns all the law Copyright law.

In the Draft Law for the Creation of Employment, one of the points of article 61 regulates that the employment contract ends when the work is finished.
Meanwhile, Article 61A adds a provision on the obligation of employers to compensate workers whose employment relationship has ended.
The Copyright Act also no longer mentions the time limit of a fixed-term employment contract (PKWT) or contract employee, as in Article 59, paragraph 4.

In said article, only provisions relating to the type and nature or activity of the work, the term and the term for the extension of the PKWT are stipulated by regulation.
In fact, in the Manpower Law No. 13 of 2003, the period for the extension of the PKWT is a maximum of two years and it can only be extended once for a maximum period of one year.
With this regulation, it is considered that the Draft Law for the Creation of Employment harms workers due to the imbalance of power relations in the conclusion of agreements.
This is because the length of the contract will be in the hands of the employer, which has the potential to make the workers’ contract permanent. In fact, it is assessed that employers can lay off workers at any time.
