DIY NEWS – Vice President Ma’ruf Amin said the government is targeting the number of microenterprise actors that will receive Productive Presidential Assistance (Banpres) to increase to 20 million beneficiaries of social assistance.
“Our (government) target of up to 15 million by early 2021 needs to be completed. But we will set the next targets. So if in 2020 it could reach 12 million, later in 2021 we expect it to reach 20 million,” he said. Ma’ruf Amin as reported by Antara, Wednesday October 7, 2020.
The government, through the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), continues to verify data on micro-entrepreneurs.

From the initial data of 60 million business players, Ma’ruf continued, as of September 2020 there were only 9.16 million microentrepreneurs. The number of productive beneficiaries of social assistance will increase in the second phase scheduled for December.
“According to the plan, the second phase until December could be 12 to 15 million (beneficiaries of social assistance). The budget provided by the government for the 15 million micro-enterprises is IDR 36.2 trillion. The rest will continue in 2021 “, He said.

The verification of data of the microenterprise actors is under the coordination of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises by carrying out the validation of the cooperative office, Public Companies (BUMN), Regional Companies (BUMD) and banks that serve MSMEs.
The criteria for microenterprise actors to obtain productive social assistance include not receiving financing from financial institutions, having a business identification number (NIB) and not being a state civil apparatus (ASN), members of TNI, members of the National Police or BUMN / BUMD employees.
