Agus said he could not bear the attitude of his superior, Blitar AKBP Police Chief Fanani, who was deemed arbitrary.

Fanani is often cursed with animal names and other inappropriate words.

Agus then assessed that the Kapolres often acted arbitrarily by withdrawing their men without first providing guidance.

Kasat Sabhara also reported the Chief of Police to the East Java Regional Police on suspicion of allowing illegal mining and cockfighting.

“I no longer have the strength to be subordinate to the Chief of Police and I proposed early retirement without demanding anything from the Police,” he said.

Go to the East Java Regional Police Headquarters

On October 1, 2020, Agus visited the East Java Regional Police Headquarters regarding his resignation.

“I am ready to resign from the National Police. I will deliver this letter to the Chief of the East Java Regional Police as well as the Chief of the National Police,” he said.

For this decision, Agus apologized to his loved ones.

Agus was withdrawn to the East Java Regional Police

After being denounced by his subordinates, Blitar’s Chief of Police, Ahmad Fanani Eko Prasetya, was still on duty as usual.

“Yes (Blitar’s police chief) continues to work,” said on Friday (02/10/2020) the head of the Public Information Office (Karopenmas) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police (Pol) Awi Setiyono .

Meanwhile, Agus is now being lured in by the East Java Regional Police to facilitate the clarification process.

The apology and Agus were transferred to the East Java Police

On October 5, 2020, or four days after Agus visited the East Java Regional Police Headquarters, the two officers were known to have made peace.

In a video recording, Agus and Fanani met at Agus’ residence in Blitar, on Monday (10/5/2020).

In the video, Agus is also seen crying while hugging his boss.

The reconciliation of the two police officers was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko. Trunoyudo said they agreed to make amends.

“Hopefully the relationship between the two improves and there are no more conflicts within the Blitar Police,” he said.

Meanwhile, AKP Agus is no longer the head of the Sabhara Sabhara de Blitar police.

He was transferred to the East Java Regional Police as Kaurfastor Subbagyantor Yanma.

Trunoyudo said that Agus’ transfer to the East Java Regional Police was an upgrade effort. “The functions were transferred according to the needs of the organization in providing services to the community,” he said.
