It was previously reported that the Sabhara Police Chief of the Blitar Police, AKP Agus Hendro Tri Susetyo, arrived at the East Java Regional Police Headquarters with a letter of resignation.

Agus admitted that he was depressed because Ahmad Fanani often insulted him.

He also denounced Ahmad Fanani on suspicion of having abandoned cockfighting and illegal mining in the Blitar Regency area.

Confirmed separately, Ahmad Fanani admitted that he only gave a reasonable warning to his subordinates.

“I had to scold him for having his men with long hair. He didn’t take it and called me arrogant,” he said.

Ahmad Fanani believes that the reprimand directed at his men remains within the bounds of decorum.

He again accused Agus of not joining the service since September 21, 2020 or after being reprimanded.

Regarding the reports of the abandonment of sand mining, Ahmad Fanani explained that his party did not allow it.

The mine in question belongs to a local resident, so he does not want to take action against it.

The police chief said that this was against Agus’ wishes. (Surabaya contributor, Achmad Faizal)
