Masinton denied that Puan deliberately turned off the Democratic Faction’s microphone. He said the microphone turned off automatically because the system had a talk time limited to a maximum of five minutes.
“The talk time is set automatically as well, because the microphone will automatically turn off in the fifth minute,” Masinton told CNNIndonesia.com, Tuesday (6/10).
Masinton explained early on that all factions agreed to limit the talk time to five minutes. Each faction must register its spokesperson to present final opinions on the podium.
Board members, Masinton said, can register to speak by pressing a button on the table. They can only speak if they have permission from the meeting chair.
He said it was impossible for Puan to turn off the microphone. Because the meeting was not chaired by Puan, but by Azis Syamsuddin from the Golkar faction.
“The RI DPR leadership who chaired the plenary session yesterday was Vice President Pak Azis Syamsuddin,” he said.
Previously, the plenary session for the ratification of the Job Creation Omnibus Bill was marked by a series of political attractions, the presidency of the meeting turned off the microphone of the members of the Democratic Faction who were expressing their opinions.
