1. Reject the bill of job creation, 5,000 workers in Bekasi Demo to the House of Representatives
Around 5,000 workers from Bekasi City and Bekasi Regency will take part in a demonstration against the ratification of the omnibus law on the Job Creation Bill in the DPR / MPR RI Building, on Monday (10/5/2020).
“Yes, today to Jakarta, to the DPR RI building. There are 5,000 (joint workers) Bekasi City and Regency,” said Bekasi Suparno, president of the Federation of Indonesian Metalworkers Unions (FSPMI), on Monday (5/10 / 2020).
The plan is for this demo to last until October 8, 2020.

According to Suparno, the peak of the demonstration will take place in front of the DPR Building on Thursday (8/10/2020).
He called this labor lawsuit the same as all other labor alliances.
“Yes, it is the same as the central alliance (labor) of demands. Still on the omnibus law of the Draft Law of Job Creation. The DPR wants the plenary session on the 8th (ratification). Hopefully the labor force cluster will broadcast as education, the media will make themselves known, “he said.
Previously, there were seven main points rejected by workers and other confederations in the broad bill.
First, workers think that the job creation bill will eliminate the city / district minimum wage (UMK) and the city / district sectoral minimum wage (UMSK).

2. Positive Covid-19, owner of Abuba Steak Dies
The owner and commissioner of Abuba Steak, Aminah, passed away on Saturday (03/10/2020) in a positive condition for Covid-19.
The sad news was reported by Abuba Steak’s management through Abuba Steak’s official Instagram account.
“Ms Hj. Aminah has been dead since October 3, 2020, and the funeral management procession was carried out in accordance with the fixed (Protap) Covid-19 procedure,” Abuba Steak management wrote on your Instagram account.

Abu Bakar, as Aminah’s husband and owner of Abuba, was also exposed to Covid-19.

3. Blockade of the mass of workers who demonstrate in the DPR, police: until they dissolve
The police carried out a blockade during the action period for the Tangerang City Omnibus Bill. Wakapolres Metro Tangerang Kota AKBP Yudhistira Midyahwan explained that the blockade was carried out by order of the police chief.
“Regarding today’s union action, the management ordered that we conduct isolation at the Tangerang exit point,” Yudhistira said in a voice statement on Monday (05/10/2020).
Yudhistira explained that massive blockades were also carried out on various roads from Tangerang city to Jakarta to prevent the movement of the mass action towards the DPR-RI building.
He said that, in addition to the isolation that was being carried out by orders of superiors, another reason was the compliance with health protocols during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

“We are still in the period of pandemics, of course there is perwal (prohibited) information and activities to rally and mobilize the masses,” he said.

He said the blockade would last as long as the labor movement rejects the omnibus law.

4. Kidnapped for 23 days, children with special needs raped by a meatball 14 times
Polda Metro Jaya’s Head of Public Relations, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said that the special needs girl with the initials A who was abducted by a meatball worker with the initials PBA was raped up to 14 times.
That happened during A was kidnapped for 23 days by PBA and held in the Sunter area, North Jakarta to Boyolali, Central Java to Jombang, East Java from September 8-30, 2020.
“A total of 14 times this was done to the victim. This was from day 8 (the victim) was kidnapped by the suspect until the last arrest was 23 days,” Yusri said during the transmission of the statement online, on Monday (10/5/2020).
