jpnn.com, BOGOR – Combined officers from Tangerang Class 1 Prison, along with Tangerang Subway Police and Jakarta Subway Police are still searching for the prisoner sentenced to death for a drug case, Cai Changpan, in the forest area from Tenjo district, Bogor, West Java.
Cai had apparently returned home to meet his wife.
“Cai Changpan came home on Monday morning, but I didn’t see him come home because he was home for a short time,” RT 01 Cikap Village chief Pendi (67) told reporters.
He admitted that the fugitive had only lived in his home for a year. The reason is that the house occupied by his wife has just been built. Meanwhile, Cai Changpan rarely came home.
“I know the police are looking for Cai Changpan among the local residents because he said he escaped from jail,” he said.
Pendi also revealed that the perpetrator runs a tire burning business that is currently run by an employee and his wife.
Meanwhile, the head of Hamlet 02 Desa Babakan Ratim said reports from local residents saw that Cai had bought something at the store and had chatted with farmers at a cassava plantation hut.
“That afternoon Cai had the opportunity to chat with the farmers in the yucca garden hut, then I informed the officers and chased Cai, so far he has not been arrested,” he explained.
