Covesia.com – Up to three of the 84 Pemuda Suayan, Limapuluh Kota Regency were found by the SAR team, on Sunday afternoon (4/10/2020). The three young men were found in a forest area near the town of Suayan and were in a state of starvation.

“Of the 84 youths, three were found just now this afternoon. They were found by residents of Suayan who had come up from the Suayan route,” the head of Post Fifty Kota, Robi Saputra, told Covesia.com.

The three young men who were found could not be shot down. The reason is that they are weak and hungry. So the residents who found the three young men asked to rest and provide supplies. Then, representatives of the neighbors descended on Suayan to provide information to the officers.

“These three young people have not landed yet. They are still in the forest because their condition is very weak and hungry. But now they are accompanied by several neighbors in the forest there,” he said.

With the discovery of three youths in the Suayán forest area, it is strongly suspected that the group of youths was separated and some were trying to find a way back from Suayan.

“It is possible that their groups will split up. Then we will follow the route of this group beforehand and go up from Suayan,” he said.

Previously, 84 young people from Suayan village, Akabiluri district, Limapuluh Kota Regency were reported missing on Sunday morning (10/4/2020). The status of the disappearance of dozens of young people was after one of them called a relative through the cell phone who did not know the way back home.

The 84 youths were an additional group that wanted to participate in a survey of tourist sites with the Suayan village team on Saturday (03/10/2020). But their goals are different. The village research team wanted to see and document the Sarasah waterfall tourist attraction on the border of Nagari Suayan, Limapuluh Kota with Nagari Kamang Magek, Agam Regency.

Meanwhile, the youth team searched for the lost river in the Tilatang Kamang forest, Agam Regency.

The two groups had been together from morning to night. However, they parted ways at the sarasah waterfall because the youth group wanted to continue their journey to find the dead river. After parting ways, the village survey group managed to get off at Kamang Magek on Saturday night. Meanwhile, none of the youth groups made it home and were declared missing in the forest.
