Rachel Maryam’s condition worsened after giving birth to her second child. Rachel Maryam was reportedly lying unconscious in the hospital room.
Rachel is said to bleed profusely after giving birth to her second child. Dr Boy Abidin SpOG said the incident could occur due to several factors.
“The bleeding occurs because the uterine muscles cannot contract properly, so the blood vessels will continue to open and the blood will continue to bleed, if the bleeding is more than 500 cc it will be dangerous for the patient,” said Dr. Boy in Pulomas , East Jakarta, on Saturday (3/10).
Additionally, various factors such as fatigue in the womb with age could be one of the causes of Rachel Maryam experiencing bleeding.
“Low levels of HB, could also be fatigue in the uterus. All pregnant women are at risk of bleeding,” he explained.
“There is also because the age factor is greater than 35, there are physical changes in the mother and bleeding can occur both during normal delivery and by cesarean section,” continued Doctor Boy.
After experiencing a hemorrhage, Rachel immediately received a blood transfusion. Not in a coma, doctors said Rachel Maryam was deliberately rested to save other organs in her body.
“So patients with low HB bleeding should receive a transfusion immediately to save the mother’s life. I hope that HB can rise rapidly,” Dr. Boy said.
“So sleep so other organs don’t use up too much energy so you can rest and focus on recovering from stopping the bleeding earlier. This is a technique an anesthetist uses to save other organs,” he explained.
He added that if Rachel Maryam’s immune system is good, her health will soon recover and improve.
“If the immune system is good, the blood can be replaced immediately recoverynya It can be fast and recover completely ”, he concluded.
