Dodik said the Toyota Fortuner car with registration number 3688-34 was also insured. The car is now on Mapuspomad.
“Fortuner Vehicle Registration Number 3688-34 in Green army as well as the license plate has been secured, “he said.
Additionally, Dodik admitted that his party also appreciated the public’s concern for the Indonesian military. According to him, this step is considered to protect the image of the Indonesian army.
“On this occasion we also did not forget to express our thanks and appreciation to the people who care about TNI AD for maintaining the image of TNI AD,” he said.
It was previously reported that a video about a car that looked like a military service vehicle used by civilians was circulating on social media (medsos). In the video of 2 minutes and 8 seconds in circulation appears the official SUV type car with license plate number 3688-34. The license plate on the dark green car looks like an official license plate.
The car is parked at a food stall in Padang. However, the exact location of this video is not yet known.
The recorder then went to the man at the Padang food stand. The owner of the car wears a white shirt and shorts.
The recorder had asked about the ownership of the car and the identity of the man in the white shirt. The man in the white shirt said the car belonged to him and had admitted that he was an active member of the TNI. However, she later corrected her statement after being asked to show TNI (KTA) membership card.
“Not a member cave. I’m kidding, “replied the man in the white shirt.
