The incident took place in two prayer rooms in Pasar Kemis, Tangerang, on Tuesday afternoon (9/29/2020).
When he reported to the Tangerang Police Headquarters on Wednesday (09/30/2020), SKN seemed to be sobbing.

Psychologists say the perpetrator is depressed
The Tangerang Police carried out a psychological examination of the perpetrators in cooperation with a psychologist.
According to the exam, SKN’s mental state was depressed.
“The psychological examination of the perpetrator was declared depressed. But we will carry out the investigation process,” said Kapolresta Tangerang Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi.
This was confirmed by the statement of the perpetrator’s family.
The family relayed that these psychological complaints had been seen since SKN was in the third grade of high school.
At that time, the aggressor had difficulty sleeping until the desire to commit violence and fights arose.

SKN was also banned from dating if he was not accompanied by his parents.

“The suspect also often watches YouTube about the prophet’s struggle and also the history of the development of Islam in Turkey. He believes that what he did yesterday was correct,” Ade said.
SKN’s behavior became increasingly intense after Eid Al-Fitr 2020.
At its peak, it scrawled on the walls of the mosque, tore up the Quran, and cut the speaker wire.

Determined as a suspect
The police have identified S as a suspect.
In addition to confessing his actions, the search also found evidence that was used by the perpetrator when he was scribbling a prayer room and breaking the Al-Quran.
Various pieces of evidence have also been secured, including the black pilox, duct tape, scissor gloves, matches, and the Quran that the pilox had written and torn off by the perpetrator.
