Previously, the government aimed to provide wage subsidies to 15.7 million workers with incomes below 5 million IDR. However, BSU will eventually ship to 12.4 million people based on accumulated data up to the deadline for collection at the end of September.


BPJS Ketenagakerjaan itself has submitted 12.4 million of these data to the Ministry of Manpower with 615,288 data on potential recipients for the final batch of submission of stage V on September 29 and 30, 2020, after they had previously been presented 11.8 million data for phase I-IV disbursements.

As for the presentation itself, Labor Minister (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah said that after cross-checking the stage V data, the wage subsidy would be processed to be distributed directly to workers’ accounts.

So far, BSU has distributed to around 10.7 million people in distribution stages I to IV for the first period of wage subsidies in September and October. Each BSU beneficiary is entitled to receive IDR 600,000 per month for four months, the distribution of which is divided into two periods.
