Shocking news came from the Blitar Police. Kasat Sabhara Blitar Police AKP Agus Hendro Tri Susetyo proposed Give up of the police, for the conflict with the police chief of Blitar. DPR Commission III highlighted this problem.
RI DPR Commission III Vice President Ahmad Sahroni asked the National Police to intervene to investigate the case. He considered that someone had to be punished.
“Propam is obliged to go down with an investigation in the Polres, if the Chief of Police acts arbitrarily, he must be dealt with firmly,” Sahroni told reporters on Thursday (01/10/2020).
According to this NasDem Party elite, it is natural for a superior to get angry at his subordinates when a fatal mistake occurs. However, he also suggested that a leader should be wise.
“It is permissible to scold a member if he makes a fatal mistake. As if the leadership must be wise with the members so that the relationship between the leader and the subordinates is well established,” he added.
Contacted separately, PPP faction DPR RI Commission III member Arsul Sani asked Propam and Irwasum Polri to act on the incident. He urged that the matter between Kasat Sabhara and the Chief of Police of the Blitar Police be examined.
“Commission III asked Irwasum or Propam to examine the problems that occurred between the Sabhara Blitar Police Chief and his Chief of Police,” Arsul said.
According to Arsul, Propam and Irwasum Polri must also examine complaints against Blitar’s chief of police. In particular, regarding the claim that Blitar’s police chief used to use harsh words when he was angry at his subordinates.
“One thing that should be examined by Propam or Irwasum is the claim that the relevant police chief often verbally abused his subordinates with inappropriate words,” he said.
Furthermore, Arsul considered that angry attitudes towards subordinates were not taboo in the police force. However, anger must be within reasonable limits.
“In Polri, actually superiors scolding subordinates is not taboo, but of course everything must be measured and with expressions that are still within the limits of reason,” said Arsul.
