JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The trend of public confidence with the PKI boom issue has not changed much from time to time.

SMRC Executive Director Sirojudin Abbas explained that the national survey from June 2016 to September 2020 showed a trend of respondents who agreed with the issue of increasing PKI by between 10 and 16 percent.

The same survey from June 2016 to September 2017 also showed that 22 percent of those surveyed considered the PKI problem to be real and threatening.

The 22 respondents disagreed that the PKI’s resurgence was only exaggerated by certain groups.

The rest are still in the same survey period, 46 percent of respondents agree that the PKI boom issue has only been exaggerated by certain groups for certain and unrealistic interests.

In addition, Sirojudin explained that in the last poll conducted between September 23 and 26, 2020, there were still audiences who believed or agreed with the emergence of the PKI.
