Idham emphasized that dispersal of mass helicopter action was not in the police’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

Idham’s outbursts of anger began when he was asked by a member of DPR Commission III from the Supriansa faction of the Golkar Party to analyze the motives of policemen driving helicopters to disperse student protests in Kendari, southeast Sulawesi.
“So that the Kendari police in the southeast cannot be there, so that there are not too many victims, approach the police chief,” Supriansa said.

Supriansa admitted that he couldn’t stop thinking about the policemen who broke up the demonstration with a helicopter.
According to Supriansa, this could endanger people who are holding demonstrations.
