Idham said that the surplus of pamen and starch was one of the challenges of the Bhayangkara Corps in the system of mutation and promotion in its environment.


“Kombes have a surplus of 288 and high-ranking officials have a surplus of 213 people,” Idham said at a hearing meeting (PDR) with Commission III at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (9/30). .

Idham explained that currently this number is inversely proportional to Polri’s need for personnel at the Tamtama level to the Senior Deputy Commissioner of Police (AKBP), which is 255,990 people.

Referring to Polri’s data, Idham said, currently the actual number of Polri’s staff is just 416,414 people. Meanwhile, the list of personnel that his party has drawn up requires 685,468 people.

“The efforts made by the Police are the development of functional office spaces and open promotions,” said the former Kabareskrim.

Additionally, he also explained that his party began implementing 13 evaluation components when conducting member transfers and promotions.

Idham also admitted that his party was beginning to compile the Chief of Police Regulation (Perkap) regarding the management system and success standards for superior human resource development.

For information, the current system of mutation and promotion in the Bhayangkara Corps is regulated in Perkap Number 16 of 2012 in relation to mutations of members of the police.

“The implementation takes into account competence, task accomplishment, rank, education, seniority without sacrificing quality,” Idham said.
