DIY NEWS – The government has distributed government assistance in the form of subsidized wages / salaries to 10,180,341 beneficiaries or 87.35 percent of the total beneficiaries of phase I-IV of 11.6 million people.

Based on data from the Ministry of Labor as of September 28, 2020, the distribution of salaries / wage subsidies for stage I has reached 2,484,429 beneficiaries (99.38%); stage II reached 2,981,602 recipients (99.39%); stage III reaching 3,476,123 recipients (99.32%); and stage IV with 1,238,187 recipients (46.65%).

Menaker Ida Fauziyah added that wages / salary subsidies are one of the efforts to support the national economic recovery due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Therefore, we hope that the workers / day laborers who receive this subsidy will be used to buy basic necessities, especially our MSME products,” said Ida based on a written statement, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
