The Indonesian Under-19 team won the match against Dinamo Zagreb in a test match that took place on Monday (9/28/2020) last night.

Witan Sulaeman scored successfully in Dinamo Zagreb’s penalty area.

In general, the Indonesian U19 team has much more control over the game.

But sadly, several chances in the second half did not produce additional goals.

Despite only narrowly winning over Dinamo Zagreb, the appearance of the Indonesian U19 national team this time around is even more promising.

In addition, Shin Tae-yong, as a strategist for the Indonesian Under-19 national team, has also highlighted that there is one thing that is increasing in the appearance of his students.

The South Korean coach felt that the performance of the Indonesian U19 team here is increasingly showing its consistency.

“(His) game is getting more stable with each test match,” Shin Tae-yong said, after the match was quoted by SportFEAT.com from PSSI’s official website.

However, that stability still needs some improvements.

Shin Tae-yong did not become complacent about his victory this time and said that he would continue to improve on the existing shortcomings.

“All the lines are still missing and we need to improve. We will continue to improve and the players will continue to work hard,” the 51-year-old said.

With this victory, practically the Indonesian U19 team has shown a much improved graph.

After losing a lot to Bulgarida (0-3) and Croatia (1-7), the learning process accompanied by their hard training has paid off.

Recorded in the last five test matches, Witan Sulaeman and his colleagues have only lost once. They previously played against Saudi Arabia (3-3), and twice against Qatar (2-1 and 1-1) and Bosnia Herzegovina (0-1).

The test match against Dinamo Zagreb was the last match of the Indonesian under-19 team during the TC in Croatia.

Also, Shin Tae-yong will bring his troops to Turkey to carry out more CT in October 2020.
