Paris –
Lionel Messi said goodbye to Luis Suárez, in addition to criticizing Barcelona. It’s hotter because Neymar participated in the criticism of his former club!
Suárez was eliminated from the Barça squad in the 2020/2021 season. The Uruguayan striker was not included in coach Ronald Koeman’s plans.
In the end, Suárez crossed to Atlético de Madrid. Los Colchoneros signed him, with a transfer fee of only 6 million euros.
Messi’s move was unfortunate. The Barcelona superstar is saddened by his good teammates on and off the pitch for having to go out this way.
Messi also said goodbye on Instagram. He uploaded a photo with Suárez, in which he expressed his sadness over the loss of his teammate, as well as criticizing the club for selling Suárez, the club’s third highest scorer of all time with 198 goals.
“It would be uncomfortable to see you wearing another shirt, much less against you. You deserve to be praised for being you: one of the most important players in the club’s history, achieving many things both as a team and individually,” Messi wrote on Instagram.
“And not being thrown out like them. But in reality at this moment nothing really surprises me,” continued La Pulga, who looked at Barcelona with sarcasm.
Messi’s comment was immediately answered by Neymar. The former Barcelona player also criticized his former club for selling Suárez.
In a short comment, Neymar commented on Messi’s post with the words: “It’s amazing how they do it,” wrote Neymar, who was sold by Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.
Neymar, along with Messi and Suárez, was once a terrifying trio in Barcelona. Playing together for three years, the trio, known as the MSN Trio, scored a total of 364 goals for Los Cules.
In 2017, Barcelona sold Neymar to PSG with the status of the most expensive player in the world, which is for 222 million euros. Now, in 2020, it’s Suarez’s turn to leave, so the MSN Trio really disbands.
