JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The police have arrested EF, suspected of a case of harassment and extortion against a woman with the initials LHI at Soekarno-Hatta airport.
EF was arrested at one of the boarding houses in the Balige, Toba area of North Sumatra.
Polda Metro Jaya’s head of Public Relations, Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus, said that when he was arrested, EF was with a woman and a child. This woman is suspected of being EF’s wife.
“At the time of his arrest (EF) with women and children, the wife we are currently investigating was suspected still,” Yusri told reporters on Friday (9/25/2020).

Based on provisional information, EF fled after the victim’s complaint about harassment and blackmail went viral on social media.
“The results of the initial examination at the TKP revealed that EF immediately fled by public transport to North Sumatra after learning of (the victim’s) tweets,” Yusri said.
Currently, he said that Yusri, EF and the members who arrested him were on their way.
“How will you proceed later? We will wait, as soon as possible, for the examination,” he said.
The harassment and fraud case was made public after the victim revealed it on social media using the Twitter account @listongs.
He said the case occurred at Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten. Initially, the rapid test officer with the initials EF said that the results of the LHI rapid test were reactive.

However, the officer offered to retest and make sure the results were non-reactive so the victim could continue their journey.
The victim felt there was something strange about the offer, but agreed to try it again.
After retesting and getting the results as promised, which is not recactive, the victim leaves the test site. However, EF turned out to be behind him and asked Rs 1.4 million for the results.
The victim said that he was forced to pay by transferring Rs 1.4 million to EF’s personal account.
After that, all of a sudden, EF kissed the victim. The victim admitted that she was in shock and could not help or shout for help.
