Reported Kompas.comOn Thursday (9/24/2020), the Head of Communications for the Implementation Management of the Pre-Employment Card Program, Louisa Tuhatu, said that the applicants for the Pre-Employment Card in lot 9 were 5.4 million people .
He added that from the number of applicants who had entered, 800,000 thousand people were selected who were entitled to receive pre-work cards, just like the previous batch.
With the addition of 800,000, from lot 1 to lot 9, the total number of Pre-Work Card participants has reached 5.4 million people.

Meanwhile, the details of the batch pre-employment card participants are as follows:
- Lot 1 of 200,000 participants
- Lot 2 of 200,000 participants
- Wave 3 with a total of 200,000 participants
- Wave 4 with a total of 800,000 participants
- Wave 5 with a total of 800,000 participants
- Wave 6 with a total of 800,000 participants
- Wave 7 with a total of 800,000 participants
- Wave 8 with a total of 800,000 participants
- Wave 9 with a total of 800,000 participants
This year, the government forecasts that the number of participants in the pre-employment card will be 5.6 million people.
Therefore, the remaining fee for pre-employment card recipients in 2020 is only 200,000.

Questioning the number of quotas, he said there are probably more than 200,000 people.

This is because there are 180,000 participants whose membership status has been revoked because they did not choose the first training 30 days after approving the selection.
“Yesterday we decided the participation of more than 180,000 people because they did not choose the first training within 30 days after passing the selection,” said Louisa.
According to Louisa, the 180,000 participants came from the participants in lots 1 to 4, and this number equals 3.8 percent of the participants.
Not necessarily the last
On the other hand, Louisa said, the batch 10 pre-employment card record is not necessarily the last.
It depends on the data consolidation performed by the organizer.
In addition, for 2021, it is also planned that the Pre-Work Card program will be carried out again. Organizers are still awaiting instructions on the plan.

It is known that the government in the 2020 Pre-Work Card program allocated a budget of IDR 20 trillion.
The details are IDR 5.6 billion for training costs, IDR 13.45 billion for incentives, IDR 840 billion for survey funds, and IDR 100 million from Project Management Office (PMO).
Each participant in the Pre-Work Card program will receive government assistance in the amount of IDR 3.55 million.
Support consists of a 1 million IDR training support fee that cannot be disbursed (for training costs only).
In addition, the incentive for completing the training is Rs 600,000 per month for 4 months, and the incentive for the employment survey is Rs 150,000.
