JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – It can be said that the situation in Indonesia due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the last three days is very worrying.

In addition to two new record cases, the death toll from Covid-19 was also recorded at 428 patients in three days.

Today, the government also claimed that the transmission of the corona virus was still occurring in the community, which is why Covid-19 cases continued to increase.

In fact, today there is another record for the largest increase in Covid-19 patients in one day.

According to data from Friday (9/25/2020) at 12.00 WIB, there were 4,823 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

The addition of patients has brought Covid-19 cases in Indonesia now to 266,845 people, as of the announcement of the first case on March 2, 2020.

This information was revealed by the Covid-19 Management Working Group in data sent to journalists on Friday afternoon.

The patient recovered and died

The government is still trying to foster hope by showing that more and more Covid-19 patients are on the mend.

In one day, there were 4,343 additional Covid-19 patients who were considered cured and were no longer infected with the corona virus.

They were declared cured after the examination with the method Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) shows negative results for the corona virus.

Therefore, the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients is now 196,196.

However, there is still sad news with the increasing number of Covid-19 patients who have died.

In the period 24-25 September 2020, 113 people were recorded to have died after being declared infected with the corona virus.

Therefore, the death toll from Covid-19 now stands at 10,218 people.

Sample data

The 4,823 new cases were discovered after the government examined 46,133 samples a day.

During the same period, 26,419 people were sampled to examine the samples.

In total, the government has examined 3,120,947 specimens from 1,860,768 people sampled.

With registration, a person can undergo the examination of the sample more than once.

So far, Covid-19 cases have been recorded in all Indonesian provinces, from Aceh to Papua.

In detail, there are 494 districts / cities of 34 provinces that have been affected by the corona virus infection.

This means that more than 96 percent of the Indonesian region has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
