KOMPAS.com – The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) began distributing subsidized Internet fees to students and educators throughout Indonesia in stages starting in September.
The distribution of this free internet fee will take place over the next four months, from September to December, with a gradual distribution each month (stage I: 22-24, stage 2: 28-30).
However, if you have not received the data quota for assistance from the Ministry of Education and Culture, what should be done?
Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim, at the session Press conference The inauguration of the 2020 Internet data quota assistance policy, said that those who have not received this data quota assistance need not worry.
“This distribution is carried out in stages, even every month there are two stages, and when the period of validity is given since the quota is received,” said Nadiem.
As such, the newly received data quota will remain valid for 30 days, from the moment the support package is received.

Free quota of tens of GB
As previously reported, through the Ministry of Education and Culture’s fee subsidy program, all students and educators will get a free fee of tens of GB.
PAUD level students will get a quota of 20 GB per month, while for SD, SMP and SMA students will get a quota of 35 GB / month.
Educators at the PAUD, SD, SMP and SMA levels themselves will get 42 GB per month, while teachers and students will get a quota of 50 GB per month.
In general, all students and educators will get a regular quota that can be used to access all 5GB sites and applications.
