JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The DKI Jakarta provincial government is once again allowing residents to isolate themselves under certain conditions.

In fact, some time ago, the provincial government of DKI Jakarta tried to remove independent isolation so that OTG patients would not wander during isolation.

According to Miko, there are currently many patients being treated at the Athlete’s House, so the burden of patient care is great.

Not to mention the question of the previous plan that would isolate OTG patients in hotels in the capital.

Miko then understood the problem as long as the implementation in the field was in accordance with what was said by the DKI Jakarta Health Office.

There must be an evaluation or evaluation see the feasibility of using a house as a place of independent isolation.

“The OTG also does not need the assistance of a doctor, it is enough from the Covid-19 Working Group in the supervisory environment,” Miko said.

The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta allows Covid-19 patients with no symptoms or mild symptoms to conduct independent isolation at home as long as they pass the assessment conducted by the team at the community health center and the neighborhood group (RW) where they live the patient.

The head of the DKI Jakarta Health Service, Widyastuti, explained that Covid-19 patients must first coordinate with the puskesmas team to decide whether the patient’s home can be used as a place for independent isolation or not.

“Well then the team of puskesmas will assess, ‘Oh yes the house is adequate’, of course with the supervision of our team. So the supervision of our team, the local RW group and the local puskesmas agrees with the domicile of our residents, “Widyastuti said in a YouTube broadcast. BNPB Indonesia, Thursday (9/24/2020).

According to Widyastuti, the criteria for a house to be used as a place of independent isolation is to have good circulation and lighting. Not only that, Covid-19 patients are prohibited from using items like eating and bathing utensils that are the same as family members at home.

“Then the toiletries, the eating utensils are separated from other family members. At home, keep wearing masks because when you leave the room you meet other family members,” said Widyastuti.

During independent isolation, Covid-19 patients will receive assistance from the local community health center team and the RW group.
