Solo City Pilkada will bring together two candidate pairs, namely Gibran Rakabuming Raka-Teguh Prakosa against Bagyo Wajyono-FX Supardjo (BaJo). Gibran is the eldest son of President Jokowi and is now also a cadre of the PDIP. Meanwhile, Teguh Prakosa is a member of the Solo City DPRD from the PDIP faction.

Bagyo Wahyono is a tailor who usually supplies goods to the Solo Wholesale Center.
