DIY NEWS – The Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar stated that there is a portion of IDR 30.7 billion of the remaining budget of the Village Fund that can be used for the Cash Workforce Program of Villages (PKTD) and it is estimated that it can absorb 7.05 million workers.
Abdul Halim in an online press conference, after a limited meeting chaired by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Jakarta on Thursday, said that the activities of the PKDT would take place from October to December 2020.
“PKTD in October, November, December has priority for PKTD that does not require high materials. So the minimum is above 50 percent for wages, so labor absorption is high,” he said.
