Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

The head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General’s Office, Hari Setiyono, explained the charge. Attorney General ST Burhanuddin in the indictment read during the initial trial of the alleged bribery case Pinangki Lawyer Sirna Malasari at the address fatwa by MA Djoko Tjandra.

Hari explained that Pinangki, as a defendant, took the name of the Attorney General to convince the convicted Djoko Tjandra to process the MA fatwa through him.

“The indictment has explained that it was the offense of the accused (taking the name) with his friends in connection with the plan to be carried out,” said Hari. CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (24/7).

Then, Hari confirmed that action plan Djoko Tjandra rejected MA’s fatwa agreement drawn up by lawyer Pinangki and several of his cronies. Therefore, planning has not yet entered the execution stage.

Therefore, Hari continued, his party also had no interest in conducting an examination of the names reported by Pinangki in his proposal.

“There is no correlation or urgency with the initials of the name because it never happened,” Hari said again.

He also requested that the public attend the trial of the alleged bribery case in a comprehensive manner, so that they clearly and completely understand the legal construction that is being built.

At the investigation stage, it was also said that lawyer Pinangki had collected several names to convince Djoko Tjandra.

This was revealed by the Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General’s Office for Special Crimes, Febrie Ardiansyah, to journalists, on September 8. At the time, the AGO also stated that it would not verify the names that were reported by Pinangki.

“It is not certain that the person whose name is being sold knows about the matter. While there is no evidence that he took any initial steps to fix it, no (convene), the person is disturbed,” Febrie said at the time.

Later, during the trial, it was revealed that the names reported were Attorney General ST Burhanuddin and the former Chief Justice. They were included in a series of points contained in Pinangki’s version of the action plan to help Djoko Tjandra free himself from legal traps.

In this case, Pinangki was charged with three different charges. He was charged with gratification of articles, money laundering (TPPU) and criminal consent.

The prosecutor said that Pinangki had received $ 500,000 from Djoko Tjandra. The money is intended to help the prosecution of fatwas in the Supreme Court (MA) through the Office of the Attorney General so that the prison sentence imposed on Djoko Tjandra for 2 years cannot be carried out.

In the indictment, the prosecutor claimed that the US $ 500,000 was an advance of the US $ 1 million promised by Djoko Tjandra. Pinangki received the money through an intermediary who is a relative of NasDem Party politician Andi Irfan Jaya.
