Individual members of TNI Koptu S are suspected of being involved in the murder case. This TNI officer is suspected of being involved in one of Jefri Wijaya’s killers whose body was found in a ravine in Berastagi, Karo, North Sumatra (Sumut).
Jefri’s body was found in a ravine on Friday (9/18) by residents. Many wounds on the body of the victim and when she is naked.
There are seven suspects in the alleged murder of Jefri. The search for the other suspects involved is still being pursued.
The suspects were Edi Siswanto, Handi, M Dandi, Slamet Nurdin, Bagus Arianto and Arif. They were charged under article 340 subsidiary of article 338 of the Penal Code.
“In this place there are six suspects. Actually seven, one is in development because for this, the perpetrators are more than 10 people, about 13-14 people,” Dirkrimum Polda North Sumatra Kombes Irwan Anwar told a press conference in North Sumatra Regional Police, Medan, on Wednesday. (23/9/2020).
Irwan explained that one of the suspects was suspected to be a TNI person. However, Irwan did not explain his identity in detail.
The police are still investigating this case. The police also revealed the plan to kill Jefri that had been organized by the perpetrators.
Kasubdit Jatanras Polda North Sumatra Kompol Taryono explained that there were four parts to this murder case, namely from planning, execution, elimination and consolidation. The background to the assassination plot was due to a debt of hundreds of million rupees.
“At first, there was a debt from Dani to Brother Edi. Then Jefri offered a guarantee that Brother Jefri would resolve it. After waiting, Brother Jefri was not clear,” Taryono said.
Edi, Taryono said, ordered Helmi to find Jefri. Helmi with several suspects then searched for Jefri.
To meet the victim, the suspects lured Jefri with a car sale transaction. And in fact, Jefri has recently climbed related car sales.
“So this was welcomed by Brother Edi through other suspects, so Brother Jefri came out with the car that was the transaction,” added Taryono.
