jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Nine women who worked as masseurs and proved to be prostitutes during the implementation of the Jakarta Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) received special attention from the North Jakarta City Government.
“Especially for nine therapists, we have coordinated with the social service tribe and brought them to the Kedoya Women’s Social Home,” said North Jakarta Deputy Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim at North Jakarta Police Headquarters, the Tuesday (22/9).
Ali explained that all nine therapists were shown to be prostitutes working at a massage parlor called Temesis.
“They will be built over six months to a year,” Ali said.
Meanwhile, specifically for business owners, Ali said, they would be prosecuted immediately and receive a maximum fine for violating the governor’s regulations No. 33 and 79 regarding PSBB.
“We give maximum fines as a warning to other companies that are prohibited from conducting activities during the PSBB,” Ali said.
The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta issued DKI Jakarta Provincial Governor Regulation Number 88 of 2020 on Amendments to Governor Regulation Number 33 of 2020 on Implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions in the Management of COVID-19 in the Province of Jakarta DKI.
Another regulation is the DKI Jakarta Governor’s Regulation Number 79 of 2020 on the enforcement of discipline and law enforcement of health protocols as an effort to prevent and control the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
